Gina Filomena has always been told she has an overactive imagination. With her bright clothing from her Nonna Filomena and visions of angels, she’s always felt different from the other kids in her class. That is, until she meets her new neighbor, a mysterious boy named Antonio with a wide, welcoming smile. When Gina and Antonio start school, they meet their new teacher, Miss Lightstone who opens up their world. She starts with a writing prompt, “One Time…”, and the class takes off from there. Through Miss Lightstone’s lessons, a world of possibilities begins to awaken within, and Gina observes as her classmates’ creativity begins to blossom.
