With approximately 4 million cases of coronavirus infection in the world (as of this writing), there are more than enough personal stories of sickness and recovery. This book is more than all the accumulated pandemic stories. From the vantage point of the author's personal experience as a corona survivor, this book opens up the wider context of social relations and the multiple ways that we, as a species, re-adjust, redesign and alter our lives so that we can continue. All told, this book is about saving ourselves. Our institutions that respond to this crisis are at the forefront of this book. So are the very many individual actions that continuously respond daily to alleviate the pain of this pandemic, and hopefully to eradicate it. The story is a peephole through which we can see human life magnified.
