Shirley Wallace and her four sons return to her childhood home on Pope Mountain in Jubilee, Kentucky, with a lifetime of hardship behind them, hoping to find peace and begin their lives anew. As her oldest son Aaron Pope returns to his life as a policeman, he crosses paths with Dani Owens, a young woman who becomes the catalyst for solving an attempted murder and finding the answers to a long-lost part of their family’s past.
