For scientist Robin Tanamachi, chasing tornadoes is just an average day on the job. Robin studies tornadogenesis, or how tornadoes form, and what causes them to get weaker versus stronger. Anytime there's a storm in the air, Robin and her team can be found driving around in a Doppler radar truck aiming towards the sky.  The data she collects is then modeled and studied on computers–using math, physics, and computer science hand in hand with meteorology.
