The coronavirus pandemic has forced America into an unprecedented crisis. Liberals have placed all of the blame at Donald Trump’s door, but the truth is that it was democrats who have done the worst job in responding to the medical realities on the ground. The liberal media threw itself into such a hysteria about hydroxychloroquine that we’ll probably never know whether if there is an effective therapeutic use to the drug. Researchers will be hesitant to test a drug with such a notorious reputation, and people who bought into the media hysteria won’t take the drug even if Trump turned out right. The COVID pandemic has resulted in a failure of government, but some of that was unavoidable in a unique disaster scenario. However, the rampant politicization of data has hopelessly muddied the water and democrats’ knee-jerk anti-Trumpism has made it all worse.
