Adventurous mouse Ragweed is on a freight train heading away from his friends in Amperville. His sights are set firmly on Dimwood Forest. On the way, he meets Lotar, a wide-eyed young raccoon who’s desperate to reunite with his mother. Though Ragweed doesn’t want to be tied down, he ends up accompanying Lotar, and, by sheer luck, winds up in Dimwood Forest. After Lotar finds his mom, Ragweed is finally alone to explore the forest.
