This edition of The Poppy War will have full-page black-and-white illustrations (or in some cases, two-page spreads)—one for each chapter. These will showcase the different beloved characters from the original cover artist, JungShan, as well as some amazing action scenes, bringing the already compelling story to life. In addition, JungShan will be doing a full-color, wrap jacket that will give fans a beautiful sense of the world and the protagonist Rin in all her fiery glory. The jacket will be going around an embossed, foiled, and stylized book case, and will be complete with spredges (stenciled sprayed edges).
