Clark Griffin is a single dad raising his five-year-old son alone. He has given up his fledgling business and returned to Mistletoe, Idaho, to take a job at the Winters Christmas Tree Farm so he’ll have the flexible hours and small-town ambiance he believes is best for his boy. Merry Winters has come home to soothe her soul after a bad breakup and wants nothing more to do with men. But she and Clark knew each other in high school (okay, shy Clark had a huge crush on the lively Merry) and both are badly in need of a friend. One thing leads to another as they try to put their lives back together. Blame it on the magic of a small-town Christmas as they start to see that those lives are meant to include a friend who can be so much more.
