Ten Americans are chosen to participate in the Beta test of FUSION, a partnership between the CIA and a Sillicon Valley wunderkind named Cy Baxter. At the appointed hour, each of the candidates will have two hours to “Go Zero” – in other words, to turn their cellphones off, cut ties with friends and family and use any means possible to disappear.  They will then have 30 days to elude the highly sophisticated Capture Teams whose mission is to find them, and who have every secret technology at their disposal. The idea is to see if in this sophisticated age of high tech surveillance, anyone has what it takes to go “off the grid.”  The stakes are immense. For Cy Baxter, they consist of a 10-year, nearly $100 billion dollar contract with the government, gaining him access to intelligence resources he truly believes will save lives. For the participants, the victory of not being caught after a month comes with a $3 million cash prize.
