Like any 33-year old Black woman, Tabitha Walker has a checklist. With a coveted position as a local news reporter, a "paper-perfect" boyfriend, a standing Saturday morning appointment with a reliable hairstylist, and enough savings for a down payment on her dream home, everything is falling into place. That is, until she receives news that brings her life to a screeching halt. A sudden doctor's diagnosis brings Tabby's picture-perfect future crashing down, threatening the one thing that has always mattered most: having a family of her own. Now Tabby must decide between her career, her dream home, and having the family she always dreamed of. With the help of her best friends, she explores the reaches of modern medicine and tests the limits of her relationships in hopes of piecing her future back together.
