Pike Logan and Jennifer Cahill are enjoying an Australian vacation when it’s cut short. A friend, former Taskforce member Clifford Delmonty, callsign Dunkin, is in serious trouble. He has been freelancing for an Australian F 35 facility, where he notices something suspicious going on. Now, Chinese thugs are chasing him, and he turns to Pike for help. Pike and Jennifer soon discover that Dunkin’s attackers are part of a much larger scheme, one that could launch a full-on war between China and Taiwan. In their quest for dominance China has long wanted to reclaim Taiwan—a country the United States has sworn to protect by any means necessary. Now, Pike learns that the Chinese have a devious plan to lure Taiwan into attacking first, and he must stop them before war erupts—and draws the rest of the world into the fight.
